These easy to understand,
online classes are the culmination
of
literally 2 thousand plus hours of research and work. For
simplicity sake this website primarily discusses the institute's most
popular class.
The
institute's most popular class has large separate sections for: The History of Enhanced and
Interactive
Television, Enhanced TV, Interactive Television, Interactive Program
Guides & Electronic Program Guides, Walled Gardens,
Timeshifting
(Digital Video Recorders, a.k.a. DVRs), Video on Demand, Media Centers,
Media Center PCs, Home (Media) Servers, Digital Media Receivers,
Digital Media Adapters, Media Extenders, Integrated Digital Televisions
(iDTVs), Advertising using Interactive Television, Targeted
Advertising, Set–top Boxes, Web TV, IPTV (Internet Protocol
Television), Internet TV and A brief look at the future of Interactive
TV. The
hundreds
of other subtopics defined and discussed in the course are listed here.
The Electronic Account Executive
Utilization Cost-benefit Analysis Questionnaire (which has sold
for $100) is included in the course.
Students get
unlimited access to the password-protected Website at www.itvclasses.com
where hundreds of dollars worth of free programs, ebooks and Webpages
are provided. For
more information click here.
This
online introductory class is easy to understand. It
provides dozens of paragraphs of special information, in addition to
its roughly 400 learning
points,
215 questions, numerous online demonstrations and relevant online video
clips. These 215 questions are either
multiple choice, true/false or yes/no. Your
grade is based only on your answers to the 215 questions, not the
learning points. The class is
comprised of Lesson
Module
#1 through Lesson Module #6.
After passing the course, an optional online diploma is
available for
free. ( Example.)
How
long it
takes you to finish the course very much depends on how
much you want to learn. That can't be emphasized enough. As an
introductory class it's not technically oriented so it's easier
to understand.
It's recommended that
you spend 15 or more hours reading the information and hyperlinks
provided but if you're in a hurry it can be completed in
a couple of hours.
The 6
class lessons, which are written in
Microsoft Word, are sent to students
via email.
Using their computer, students answer all the questions and send the
lessons
back via email to the class instructor for grading. See a sample
lesson.
